| Description | The NCF Breakfast Briefings are moving in to a new phase and this time you will get FIVE presentations for the price of none, as its all free! We will be featuring a lead presentation on an important topic of the day, a product “showcasing” and a business improvement or compliance presentation.
We are very fortunate in having David Walker, Chair of the East Midlands Centre for Constructing the Built Environment (EMCBE), to present to us. The EMCBE sits at the heart of the Regional Construction effort and it is YOUR vehicle to have your voice heard at the highest levels. Hear why it was set up, how it operates, the main aims and how you can benefit from its activities. Supporting the day’s programme will be Matt Lockley and Alan Lygo who will give NCF Associates an introduction to “Making the Connection in Greater Nottingham” The session’s product presentation will be by Adam Welton of Reach Communications who will describe the interesting uses for their CCTV Systems. Also supporting are Kat Wehreim of Summit Skills who will update on the vital work in the building services engineering area and Matt Smart of the Nottinghamshire Education and Business Alliance (NEBA) who will update on his work and where the new Diploma in Construction has got to. The next Breakfast Briefing Meeting of the Nottinghamshire Construction Forum (NCF) is on Thursday 6th December 2007 at 8.00 for 8.30am. This will be at the Basford Site of New College Nottingham.
A light breakfast will be served and we will end promptly at 10.30am. Also, you will now have full e-mail and Internet capability at the meeting room suite, so feel free to work there before or after the session.
The College is about 4 minutes from Jn 26 on the M1, toward Nottingham, past the Gateway Hotel, just off the A610 at Stockhill Lane and plenty of parking is available right round to the REAR of the College and the Meeting Room is B204 at the CPD Centre, which will be fully signed from the REAR entrance.
