| London Festival of Architecture Hunts for Submissions | |
| 25 October 2007 The eclectic festival, which takes place on 20 June-20 July next year and follows the theme ‘Fresh’, will feature exhibitions, installations, talks, walks, cycle rides, events and parties. The extravaganza is held in association with Design for London, and is currently seeking submissions from projects which demonstrate ‘fresh thinking, fresh ideas, fresh talent, fresh collaborations and fresh cultures’ within the context of architecture and the built environment in London. The 2008 event will focus around five ‘hubs’ where people will congregate to enjoy events. Each hub will have its own programme and according to LFA, the events ‘should be capable of sitting within one of the hubs, or across all of them’. Design for London, the Architecture Foundation, New London Architecture, RIBA London and RIBA Trust will each curate one of the hubs. To make a submissions visit www.lfa2008.org The closing date is 30 November 2007. | |
